Avenues is an effective Community program that supports healthy living for families from all backgrounds in all of McKinley County including the areas that are most underserved.

To our Mckinley County community

Avenues has been consistently evaluating effective ways to ensure that our employees and families are safe and healthy during the  COVID-19 outbreak, considering how quickly it’s affecting many communities around the world and changing lives.
Our experienced home visitors are committed to providing continued high-quality services during the  COVID-19 emergency as your well-being is our number one priority.

After careful consideration and for the safety of all, our home visitors will be working from home.
Our team will be connecting daily through phone calls and online meetings to support each other and our community.

How are the visits going to be done?

Our visits will be done using a variety of methods including, Zoom meeting platform, Facetime, Facebook messenger, text messages, phone calls etc.
Although our visits will not be in person and most likely not the same amount of time, our home visitors will work tirelessly to make sure our families needs are still being met.
Avenues will still accept referrals and will welcome new families who want to sign up with our program.
We will be making sure that we are connecting with families regularly and educating on COVID-19 prevention using the New Mexico Department of Health, CDC and WHO guidelines.

We will keep our families updated on what resources are being made available within our community.

We will continue to share information with you as we move forward together.
In an effort to remain transparent we are working closely with our partner programs, teams, State and public health officials to understand how to best serve your needs.

Thank you for your understanding, patience and support during this time.
You can count on Avenues, as always, to support you and your family.
